Olivia Pulse: design, technology and local context

Olivia Centre is expanding to include a new function. Olivia Pulse, a premium apartment building currently under construction in Gdańsk-Oliwa, will bring a residential dimension to the largest business centre in northern Poland.

In an interview with PropertyDesign.pl, Anna Branicka, leading architect at Design Anatomy, discusses the design of 245 apartments and the building’s common areas. She explains how to combine a consistent vision for the entire development with the diverse needs of its future residents, and how to create interiors that will remain functional and appealing for years to come.

The interview also explores three interior design concepts – Harmony, Vital and Life – which use colour, light and texture to create distinct moods. Anna Branicka also discusses “invisible” technologies that enhance everyday comfort and the project’s local inspirations. In the common areas, contemporary design meets details inspired by the architecture of Sopot’s historic tenement houses.

It is a conversation about design rooted in the local context, a premium standard that goes far beyond striking aesthetics, and architecture that responds to the real needs of its users.
